Certified Scrum Master Training and Certification
Certified Scrum Master® (CSM) helps project teams properly use Scrum, increasing the likelihood of the project’s overall success. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications and provide a level of knowledge and expertise above and beyond that of typical project managers. Certified Scrum Masters act as “servant leaders,” helping the rest of the Scrum team work together and learn the Scrum framework. CSMs also protect the team from both internal and external distractions.
The Certified Scrum Master training is a two-day, interactive course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer. The CSM training is designed to cover all the basics of Scrum so you can begin to fulfill the Scrum Master role. After successfully completing this course, participants will be entitled to take the online exam to obtain the Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
Objectives
During the course participants will learn:
- Scrum basics and core values
- How the Scrum framework compares to other methods, such as waterfall
- How to identify when to use Scrum
- A Scrum team’s three roles and responsibilities
- Scrum meetings, including the Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and Release Planning
- Scrum artifacts, including the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Burndown Charts

Upon successful completion of the CSM exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a Certified Scrum Master certificate from Scrum Alliance.
Prerequisit
It is desirable but not essential that participants have some experience of working on projects.
